Construction at Baharakahu By-Pass Amidst Petrol Hike further Hampers Spirit and Capacity

 

Under-Construction Bypass Bahara Kahu:

On January 30, 2023, a general observation concluded around Bahara Kahu Bypass amidst the new hike in petroleum prices in Pakistan, which unveiled a blow to the spirit and capacity of the general masses. The reason is that vehicles reaching the site area of the bypass remain stuck due to a narrow passage. 

In this situation, they wait a long and crawl for a longer distance which burns both energy and petrol. On the parallel hand, the new price of petrol has increased from 215 to 250 PKR per liter. It simply means the financial burden on the common man has increased by 5-10% under the new situation. 

While the degree of the petrol burning around this area has multiplicated, the living scenario has become more difficult. The authorities should focus on this area more mainly because of the financial burden on the public. 

The construction work needs to be accelerated on the one hand whereas a relief should be given in petrol prices on the other. Thinking on these parameters will revive the mandate of the sitting government in Islamabad.
