PIMA team's Visit to TDC Islamabad in Connection With Professional Matters

On January 28, 2023, a team consisting of Dr. Abdul Aziz   Memon (President PIMA), Prof. Hafiz Ijaz Ahmed, Professor Khubaib Mian and Dr. Afzal Mian from Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA) visited The Diabetes Centre (TDC) Islamabad.

 The purpose of this visit was to decide the final course of action for mutual cooperation between the two institutions.

Under the initial agreement, PIMA, an Islamic training institution for medical specialists, will donate land to TDC in Sindh province where a state-of-the-art diabetes hospital will be built. The guests were warmly welcomed.

 Later, issues of mutual interests were discussed in the conference hall. Chairman Dr. Asjad Hameed termed PIMA's cooperation as encouraging for a diabetes-free Pakistan.

MS Dr. Muhammad Ajmal Khan revealed the objectives and importance of TDC’s cooperation with other institutions.

The head of the guest delegation, Dr. Abdul Aziz, said that our cooperation for the treatment of diabetes would be a success of the association's vision. The senior management thanked PIMA for the cooperation and visit.
